A LIFE OF L.O.V.E
Michael’s life is an incredible testament to the true and unspeakable beauty of the human spirit. His example transcends and inspires, and calls us to a life of Love. But what does this Love look like, and how do we become it? In this retreat we will be taking a deep look into Michael’s book, Dancing The Dream. Through discussion, reflection and practice, we will explore the profound wisdom and teachings that Michael left for us in these writings, and consider what they might be telling us on a very personal level. Whatever your soul is seeking can be found within the pages of this sacred text. This is a journey into the heart, with Michael as your guide. A journey that will continue as you move forward from this retreat with a deeper understanding of a Love that changes everything… the Love that lives within.
Location
Our retreat will be held on a gorgeous 8 acre property located in the town of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The Mary & Joseph Retreat Center sits high atop the hills and bluffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with majestic views of the skyline of Los Angeles and the entire L.A. basin. Nearby are the rocky cliffs of the Pacific, the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Interpretative Centre, a prime location for whale watching, and several hiking trails open to the public.
The property itself is an oasis of gardens and sacred spaces that invite you to exhale and listen to your soul. Walk the labyrinth, spend time with the peacocks, or just sit and feel the peace that surrounds you. Then make your way to the Annex as we gather together to dive deep into the wisdom of Michael’s words.

Michael Jackson changed my life in 2009 when he passed away. I had missed his whole life, and that broke my heart. I had to find out everything I could about this person who, by some impossible means, had opened my heart in a way that nothing and no one had ever done before. The more I learned about him the more I wanted to tell everyone how incredible he was, and the message of Love that he stood for, and all he had done in his life to help people, children, the planet. I did that! I spoke in my church about him, I joined facebook, I wrote books about him, I had a huge NEED to share him with the world. This was not my regular personality, but I couldn’t help it. He was too amazing and important to keep to myself. I still feel the same. This retreat is another way to share all that Michael has taught me and how I try to live by his example.
My beautiful sister in Michael, Siren, has shared this journey with me since 2011. We have laughed and cried and studied and learned and adventured together as we strive to follow Michael’s example and learn from all that he left to teach us how to live with integrity and love and kindness and generosity. We have been through thick and thin together and I am so grateful to be hosting this retreat together, so that our dream of pointing the way to Michael can expand in a new way.

What does it mean to live an inspired life?
November 2, 2009… I was in the dark. I didn’t know it then because my eyes were so accustomed to it, but the moment my soul recognized that Michael was gone, I became acutely aware of His Light, and like a moth to a flame I was drawn to Him, not even understanding why. Everything in my life became suspended, as I devoted countless hours trying to unravel what happened to me that day. Studying Michael became my revelation… a shift that ultimately changed me on a soul level and continues its evolution today. But this change didn’t come in the form of a miracle, instead it played out in the tiny everyday moments of my life. Those things that I once considered minutiae became an endless stream of soulful offerings filled with the possibility to Love, Honour and Serve. We do not need a remarkable life to live remarkably. Opportunity lies inside every single moment. This is the truth of Michael’s life that saved me, and for this I am eternally grateful.
